1980 LMC Stripes Through The Entire Cent Obverse And Reverse

On this 1980 LMC there is stripes over the entire cent. The stripes are much stronger on the obverse than the reverse. Any ideas on what this is?

I would call them common, but not very common. They look neat, though.

Roller lines are somewhat common. I started saving them when they have nice lines on both sides and nice condition.

They appear on cents after the luster goes off the coin. Then they wear off in circulation. On a woody, they remain as the coin wears as the issue is with the planchet. On this coin it is a surface anomoly.

Nice information thank you. I like the roller lines too and am saving the nicer ones I find. They just look kind of neat.
