You can try to iron the bends and folds out but most dealers and collectors can detect it. A bright light works wonders detecting workmanship like that.

Try using some spray on starch, too! That oughta do the trick and restore it back to pristine condition just like it came from the BEP! s/

What happened to the buyer for 3500? You did get their name and phone number didn't you?

I suspect that was fake news. This thing is worth $1,000 at best.

This was not issued by a bank, but by the Federal Reserve system. It is simply a low number among millions that were issued - there are many others out there with the same numerical serial number or even lower.

Yeah, the person who offered $3500 for it flaked out so I put it on ebay then found out since I was a new seller I had a $1000 monthly limit on sales. Kinda stupid! I have a solid $1000 offer at the moment so I may keep it for a while and see what happens.

Winner by unanimous decision for Best Question of the Week.

Thanks for the additional photos sava.

What hits me as remarkable is the amount of circulation accumulated by this single digit note. I get excited seeing four zeros, let alone seven.

I agree, this bill couldn't have been in circulation unnoticed since 2009. Someone probably had to spend it for whatever reason and I was in the right place at the right time.

But the guy who offered $1k is now flaking out so I may just give it to my daughter as a bday gift.

I would sell it and give the money as a birthday gift instead.
