Since the line runs through the S and O but doesn't affect the actual letters it would have to be on the planchet prior to being struck, right?

I'm not at 100% on FF damage. Maybe a plating issue.

John1 , I have found that the majority of linear plating blisters tend to follow the roller lines that were on the planchet. This anomaly doesn't. Looks to be feeder finger gouges to me as well.

I am not saying it is a plating bubble,but some kind of plating issue.
