When you look at all the devices tops and bottoms, you can see an alteration by the dies, plus the split plating near the tops of the devices and the rim area. Nothing collectable here. It is part of Machine Doubling and a strong strike. This happens often. Even the edges of the Memorial can be affected. If the coin was not plated and was a copper planchet, this would not be seen on that area next to the rim. But because of the plating, it get split, the zinc gets exposed and it is all down hill for these coins. Just a matter of time in the future when they will become a copper colored Hershey's kiss wrapper when the zinc is all gone. Very spendable. Coin contact is also more noticeable on zinc cents. So when looking for a doubled die, when you see incuse marks, 99% of the time, that is damage. A doubled die will be raised, not incuse like Machine Doubling and coin contact leave.
