Any more input guys? It gets boring when nobody else will respond.

Just seeing this! Pretty good evidence to believe this to be the real thing. Awesome find.

I agree with EV! Need more members to chime in and give their opinion. This a first 2015 D that I personally have seen with a doubled ear variety, which is SIGNIFICANT considering there are not any other DD for D mint

Great find! Seems like there's a couple doubled ears on the Denver shield cents then, too bad I only get one or two Denver shield cents per box if any.

What concerns me is that the affected area looks flat. I'll try to make a side by side ASAP to see if the metal was moved or if it was there because the die was doubled. That is my red flag about this one. Can you take another image to show the whole ear area? That would help me make a side by side to help me see what is going on. I like to use images that have definite borders to make the images the same size I can see what for sure is going on.

Very cool. Nice find. Extra ears growing everywhere. Never really paid much attention to the Denver minted cents but will check them out much better since the extra ears are showing up. Good eye, surprised that one hasn't been found sooner.

I'm following..its just interesting that it's to the side and not under the earlobe? Could it be from a hit?
