MS-65. Eye Appeal 7/10.
Typical light/medium strike.

Amending my reply because there are now two coins shown - originally just #2 was shown. First is beautiful, I'd say 66. Spotting holds the second one to 65 tops. Neither are proofs.

Neither look like proofs. Both might make MS-65.

THese are so hard to tell either could be Matte Proofs, they both are very high grade, #2 has an old staple scratch on the reverse across the buffalo's shoulder.
#1 - 66 PR or MS? I can't tell I'm 70-20% it's proof. #2 - 67 PR or MS I'm leaning towards PR on this one. Hope it doesn't details due to that scratch.
I compared these 2 coins to a bunch of Heritage high res photos and can't come to a consensus. Tough call and it will be interesting to see what the grading company thinks.
Looking forward to the results. Thanks for sharing this one, a tough lesson. Can anyone share any Proof die diagnostics? Maybe a polish mark or die gouge? I couldn't find anything in my looking.

Buffalo proofs have sharp edges. These do not. I wondered why I liked your second pictures better

Nice coins but you need to make sure to get the entire coin in your pics.

I'm a little higher on these
1. MS67 2. MS65+, looks like a scratch across the front leg and some type of round marks in the middle of the back and underbelly
both are nice coins

I'd agree with those saying "not" proof. But they are some of the sharpest struke Buffalos I've seen. Super coins.
