I think it's a beautiful example in a very nice condition. While it probably is a doubled die, the doubling on 1 in date looks like MD to me because it's bowed. I am not saying it is MD, I'm just saying it "looks" like MD to me

Thanks guys and rookie the reasoning behind it, is that the one is not reduced in size. There aren't many dies with doubling like this!

The reason it is not Machine Doubling is this. Machine Doubling reduces the size of the normal device. When you look at these devices note one thing. All the affected areas are enlarged, not reduced like Machine Doubling.
