Your cent is a 1982 from DENVER There are no doubled dies REVERSE listed on coppercoins.com for 1982 D LMC.

But again, your coin is a Denv. The DDR is a Philadelphia coin.

Ah~ha! Thank you Coop and everyone else, that totally makes sense for the Denver comments... I will oost the pics of the correct coin tonight. Uploading images was quite a challenge (file size issues) and did the post from my mobile. Thx again and sorry for the confusion on my part...

Good morning Errorproof
Your new picture is now a 1982 Large Date and also looks copper. Hard to tell since it is in a 2x2. A scale can confirm if it is copper or zinc.
This looks like a normal coin. Some doubled dies for 1982 copper require a clear close up picture to identify.
