Being a rookie at error hunting I have a hard time distinguishing between post strike damage and actual errors. I am learning thanks to you awesome people. Anyway, I came across a 1986 penny and Lincoln seems to have a scar on his forehead. I'd lean towards damage but it seems quite precise therefore I just don't know. Any thoughts?
The mark is incuse, so it is PSD. (Post-Strike-Damaged) The lines through the motto is called Ridge Ring. (from Die Deterioration) No premium for either events to the coin.
