Just a happy post! I'm only missing 5 IHC to get the full collection of small cents!!

First Page:

Woohoo!!-Only-Missing-5!!

Second Page:

Missing 1867, 1869, 1872 and 1877. I found all in G/VG condition except for 1877. I'll get the 1867 and 1872 on Friday. The 1964 to 1878 were the hardest to find locally, mostly all I found where fillers are AG. I was able to get all G+.

Woohoo!!-Only-Missing-5!!

Last Page, only missing the 1909 S, the 1909 is just a P filler for the time being. This is my best set all are VG+ (full liberty)

I found a slabbed 1909S locally, but that one will take a few months to save up for.

Congratulations. Wonderful collection of a very long line of cents. Best of luck finding those you still seek.

I got my first IHC a few years ago, a 1906. Then I purchased a 1909-1940 partial Lincoln Wheat Set in a folder, that came with a few IHC in place of Lincoln Wheat Key dates (a 1909, 1908, 1905).

I saved the IHC for a year and after completing the Lincoln wheat set in May of this year, I decided to get IHC. I picked up 2 sets of 10 each from a fellow collector for a good price and the local coin shop sold me all the ones he had on stock. The rest I had to track locally. In turn I found 2 new coin shops that have pretty much a full collection, so I've been picking up a few every 2 weeks when I replenish my hobby account.

So from May 2019 to September 2019 I went from 4 to 54.

Congrats on a great set! With your Lincoln wheat set, that's an impressive run of small cents you've got there.
Rest in Peace

Congrats on the set . A few of the ones you need won't be that hard to obtain .

Definitely was one of my most satisfying sets to fill. I filled this set, before filling my early Lincoln set. I was very fortunate to pick up a couple of 1877's from Fox Valley coin auctions many moons back. Good luck filling your remaining holes.

Congratulations! Time to start thinking about your next set.

Will you continue to upgrade these Indians?

Or will you move on (and back) into US Large Cents? Or Colonials?

Maybe you'll get away from copper and start collecting early US Gold?
