1901-O VF35, 1922 AU55, 1882 VF25, 1889 AU55. Just my opinions. Is that glue residue on the reverse of the 1889?

I'll go along with Vermont's grades, except a notch lower on the 1901-O and 1882 Morgans: I think both are in the VF-20 to VF-25 zone.

I'd put that '89 in some acetone and see if the orange stuff could be soaked off. If it didn't come clean I'd trade it in for another AU coin with better eye appeal.

After a second look at the 01, I would go slightly lower.

I would go along with the above grades except for the 82 which I would go VF30 or VF 35 if that is an acceptable combination. The lack of any visible luster more or less limits it at that. I must be missing something.

fiddler,

I don't know if you are into VAMs, but I would check out the '89 closely for a "Barwing". There's something there in the photo that needs a closer look. Here's the pic from VAMWorld ...

The 89 went into acetone right after taking the picture, pulled it out this morn. No more yellow. Dave no barwing.

I'm curious on the 22. Why the AU grade? I thought that one would go MS. Could it be the picture? For some reason in the pic it does not show luster but it actually does have it.

For some reason the 89 was the only one that actually showed the true amount of luster. Not sure why all pics aere shot pretty much the same.
