That's also the case on coins from Philly. Maybe someone else will turn up with another more slanted example. Report this Post to the Staff

Kind of like mounting a large TV or a picture on a bare faced block wall that was not built exactly level. - the TV/picture is level but looks unlevel because of the crooked wall lines... edit: to fix spelling error.
