For those of you who didn't read the new acquisitions thread...give this a grade. It still has a lot of hair and leaf detail, some reason pictures came out pretty bad...

I'm having a hard time grading from this picture.

It's at least VF, possibly EF.

From what I can make out from the image it looks VF to me.

I expect this coin should grade VF-30. It looks comparable to an 1860-S dime I have which is graded VF-30 by PCGS.

my first impression is EF40 but I am not very good at grading these things

ANACS said VF-35. IMO, XF-40. I'll try to get a good picture up tonight.
