Another medal from the lot I purchased. I have not been able to find another example online. It is 42mm. Has anyone seen this before?

@dar, another interesting piece--thx for posting. The artist, as you may know was Firmin Michelet for this medallion. I'm not seeing a pic of another example on the interwebs, but I honestly am not too sure about the best reference sites for these.

There must be a French numismatic society of some type. I'd try them on this one. Possibly an Ecuador NS?

All of the "official"/standard 1900 Paris World's Fair Medals have French legends. This medal's legends are in Spanish - this was struck by/for Ecuador's participation in the Fair. (There may be examples struck for other Spanish speaking countries...)
