Hi, I am still kind a new so bear with me, I found this coin for sale and would like some advice on it. Is this a possible error or did someone mess with it. Some of you may have seen it so please advise! Thanks so much!

Definitely altered after it left the Mint - not an error coin.

This coin was holed and then plugged, but the plug was reversed so that a little bit of the obv is now on the reverse and vice versa. I suppose only worth melt now.

and I believe we have seen the exact thing before, but it was a while ago.. perhaps someone else can recall where it was.

I have seen a lot of strange things done with coins, and I agree with coinfrog that it was a lot of effort for something which does not seem very well done.
