*** Moved by Staff to a more appropriate forum. Previously posted in US Modern Variety and Error Coins. ***I found this at a yard sale for $15 bucks....got them down from asking price $20! I think I SCORED? Has the 1829-F, 1930-F, 1935-F, 4X 1936-F, 2X 1973-F and 1926-F Buffalo nickels! Dats are all very visible and they all look in AU condition! Also has 1889, 1897, 1901, 1902, 1903 and 1904 Indian Head Pennies, 3 has the liberty head band visible and 3 you can't see any letters on head band but are toned a pinkish color! Opened it and saw the backs are taped....acetone should get the tape residue off right? Edited by Sarge50 10/07/2019 11:10 pm

Mint marks for the Buffs are on the back under the "five cents"...F is either the designer or engraver Unless it's from Philly ( no mint mark)

Check NumisMedia.com for value to grade

Coinfrog......ok? Just breaking even isn't what I was expecting but coming from a "Bedrock" I trust your assessment!

Quote: acetone should get the tape residue off right? True, but you may get differential toning where the tape is preventing surface oxidation. I would chop up this display to properly preserve the coins.

I haven't seen the coins in hand, of course, and wasn't trying to be a smart-alec, but gimmicks like this are usually made up of low grade common dates.

I'd keep it as is. Nothing to loose and makes for a great display item.

Nice beginning. Set them free followed by a dip in acetone. Should take care of any residue from the tape.

Keep it as is and put in your own yard sale for $20 and you're ahead! If you keep it, I'd get the coins out of the acid cardboard.
