1983-P "Bie"-Lii (Listed On Coc) With Possibly A Rim Cud

This BIE is listed on COC. What I think is interesting is the rim on the one listed has the same looking "folded Rim Fin" as the one I found. This makes me think it is actually a rim Cud or is it a coincidence ? What do you guys think..rim Cud?

I agree with the rim Cud but the BIE looks like a retained struck through to me.A piece of copper foil folded over and struck.

I think it is the die John. I agree it does look like it is struct through a piece of foil but I don't think that could be duplicated exactly the same on two separate planchets (or highly unlikely). There is a BIE that is listed on COC that looks exactly like this one. Check out the link to COC in my original post. It's almost an exact duplicate. Even with the MAD on the obverse.

I agree Coop. It almost has to be a rim Cud.

Coop is correct -- a die chip on LIBERTY and a rim Cud. Presumably unrelated.
