Good! Morning CCF, Might've found a Roosevelt dime DDR that its not listed neither on wexlers, or vistavariety. I want to ask your advice and expertise about the authenticity of the coin. If you think its a new variety can I go to a coin dealer and try selling it to them. Or if its real but not worth much should I just get it attributed to wexlers or vista? Really need some cash thou would be a great financial help If I can sell it for a good amount. Anyways these are the photos! My apologies for not including the date.Just a precaution for a newb like myself. Till further advice. Aprreciate the time gain, as alwayz. Eaxh photonbk Thank You!

Also I tried different angles to capture the "extra leaves" with flash and no flash with just roomlight. And its the best what my camera can do.

There is some evidence of Die Deterioration elsewhere in the leaves so it may just be that. What year is it?

Tanman. Thank you for inspecting. I took a new photo showing serif/ split at the end of the leaf. Or is it?

When you provide huge blow up photos that we can't reference against a whole coin comparison determining DDD, MD, or DD is difficult. I can assure you that such a minor DD, if it is one, might buy you a burger.

It is possible, although it doesn't happen often, for Die Deterioration to produce notching. The heavy die flow, the irregular shape of the doubling, and obvious Die Deterioration Doubling elsewhere on the coin means it is likely Die Deterioration Doubling, not a doubled die. And if this dime is from the 1990s or early 2000s, where there are no doubled dies known on dimes, would make it even more unlikely to be a DDR.

Thanks for the info tanman. Whats the best way to know for sure what it is? My camera doesn't zoom that good. Also it is possible to have a doubled die with a detoriation right?

Yes it is possible to have both Die Deterioration Doubling and doubled die at the same time. The 2019-P American Memorial Park Quarter DDO comes to mind; every example known has strong Die Deterioration Doubling on the obverse as well. In my opinion, this is not a DDR, but I've never seen the coin in-hand so maybe that should be taken with a grain of salt. You could mail it to an expert to be confirmed, like Dr. Wiles at varietyvista.com . But he charges $10 per coin plus return shipping.
