Picked up eleven rolls of half dollars at one bank today (220 coins). Found this.....  All but 27 of them were silver!! All 40%, but who cares; best single hit ever for me! |

Nice score... I just got my first silver half (40%) while roll searching.. Sure miss the 90's when I used to get more silver than clad..

Would love to have put some better photos on, but the bad news is they have already been sold and paid for, and I shipped them out a few hours ago. They actually were more dirty than toned; what toning there was was pretty ugly, if I recall. Sorry!

I sold mine too, I got $1.75 each for my 40%ers, what did you get, if you don't mind my asking?
When silver was $18-$20 per OZ I remember getting $2.25 per coin.....and that wasn't that long ago.

I had seven extra to throw into the lot to make it an even $100 face; got $400 for them (and threw in a bonus 64 Kennedy).
