mfhorn,

you can go wherever you want! I don't go north of Sadieville, though as I don't want to hit your territory. The big hit mentioned here was east of Lexington, where I seem to have the best luck. I've gone west toward Louisville, but that area is hit by multiple people and cleaned out pretty good. East and south is best for me.

Finds like that re-energize the search for silver. Congratulations!

Daddy:
Was just kidding, but am going to NC next month, so will probably hit a few places at the bottom of the state, and eastern TN. Its pretty well 'fished out' up here, at least as far as boxes go. I ordered one today, after letting it rest for a couple weeks. I did get (26) 40% out of 15 rolls a week ago. A 'rich' part of town that I've never searched before. The teller said no one ever asks for halves. Guess people with money buy their coins.

Picked up eleven rolls of half dollars at one bank today (220 coins). Found this.....
All but 27 of them were silver! All 40%, but who cares; best single hit ever for me!

No wonder you haven't been looking for nickels! Nice find! Congrats

Nice finds, I wish that my banks got $1/2, but it has been ages since they showed up with any.
