Here's a couple Seated Liberty quarters I picked up a few weeks ago. I'm looking for grading opinions & hope these pictures are good enough. Dates are 1858 and 1859-O.

I'm at FR-02 on both, I think.

The ranges stated above are on target.
Only collectible in this condition as type coins, might sell at 20$ tops.

Grade ranges are running about what I expected. Grades aren't quite low enough to interest low ball collectors (if there are any) and too low for about anyone else.

There are actually a good amount of lowball collectors out there, but they like to have have their coins graded. Getting a straight grade PO-1 or FR-2 coin is actually a lot harder than most would think.

I see them as FR-02 and PO-01.

I say PO-01 on the second coin because if there were much more wear on the obverse the date would not be identifiable resulting in an ungradeable coin.

With the amount of corrosion both of these coins suffer, are they metal defector finds? To me, it looks like soil corrosion coins.

There's enough meat on each to squeak out FR-2.
