It is a nice error coin. (Possible broken planchet), but not worth grading. (The fees would eat up possibly more than what the coin would get back. But a neat error coin. A keeper for sure.
If you are taking new images of you coin, I could use some full image shots of your coin. But if you can take full shots, take the images in 4 stages. The top 2/3, bottom 2/3 on both sides. That way I can put them back together when you post them. If you can get the full top rim and full bottom rim in each shot, then I can put them together. Best if the coin is horizontal, but it is off, I can adjust it to fix that as well. I could add these images to my educational files for further teaching aides. Thanks. Coop

That is a gnarly-looking edge. Nice find!

Very nice coin! I would love to have that in my error collection.

Just curious... where did you get this cent? Pulled from a roll? Change? Did you buy it? Just wondering how/if a coin like this could survive to be found, especially 60 years later. I'd like to think it could be still found (and found my me)

Coop, you know I ask more questions about errors than give answers, so here is mine on this one. I see what looks like a "ragged clip" from an excessive de-lamination issue, and wonder why you are calling it a "cracked planchet." Looks like most of the ragged clips I've seen, although quite a glorious one indeed compared to most.
Excellent error coin no matter how to label it.
