This coin has a striated appearance with unusual strike markings on the reverse.

Areas of interest: Straitions, 1986 date spacing between the 8 & 6, curl of Lincoln's hair looks prominent and out of place.

On the reverse the CA in America seem to be touching or doubled and an extra curved strike mark above the memorial.

The "Errors" on the reverse were caused by a coin rolling machine.

The striations are due to the plating process on these zinc cents (zincolns)

the curved scratches on reverse are due to coin roll machines tightening and damaging the coin.

Front curl of the hair is the normal design, most often first to be removed from die polishing..."C A touching each other" looks like damage... to CCF...keep asking any/all questions you have, good luck on future finds

Obverse issue. The lines across the coin are left over lines from the metal rolling of the stock material. Whey they remain after the strike is a mystery, but they are often seen. Here is an off center strike that you can see the rolling lines on the unstruck areas and the struck areas. (weakened on the struck areas) This images shows the rolling lines.

The reason the date looks odd is that it is normal, but there is a Ridge Ring on the die making it stand up on the coin:

So all events on your coin are a common find with no premium. But the best thing is to consider, what you have learned with this coin. So at least you learned something new today.
