Help With A 72 Roosevelt Dime Error

Vonburch New Member United States 3 Posts	Posted 11/13/2019 07:02 am Hello all I'm new to the forum and relatively new to coin collecting. When going through some of my circulated coins the other day I ran across this Dime. Which looks like it has the Lincoln memorial underneath Roosevelt's head. Any ideas on what type of error this is. Is this a double denomination with Dime minted on a penny? Any help is greatly appreciated Report this Post to the Staff

It may have been attached to a Lincoln Memorial cent at one time. The glue has an image from the reverse of the other coin. It may flake off or you may have to remove it with a solvent. Your coin could have been one of those and maybe the next one that catches your eye will be a real error. I've been searching coins and collecting errors for 49 years. I've been fooled by glue on several occasions. We love to look at coins and we all share in the thrill when someone finds something rare or unusual.
