I'm sure biggfredd will like this one. I recently visited a coin shop in Bishop,Ca. About 10 years ago, he was metal detecting near that area and found an 1874-CC Seated Liberty dime! He had since sold the coin, but had a nice 8X10 photo of the obverse & reverse. Looked to be VF details lightly corroded. Still an incredibly rare CC! I just thought that was a great and lucky find. I've only seen a few of these coins ever for sale and most are always plagued with problems and almost always lower grades. This one was no exception. Still a cool coin.

That is one that I wish that I could detect.

It would be a heart stopper.
But, then again, all seated are heart stoppers.

That one sure didn't stray very far from the Mint, less than 200 miles. You can't do much better than that metal detecting, short of finding a chest full of gold Escudos on a Florida beach
