Wanting any input on this very rare cent. Ready for authentication and grading
It has been examined by several coin dealers and a couple professional authenticaters and certified graders who believe it to be authentic. All replies will be answered and appreciated.

to CCF. Photo of reverse? 3.3 grams seems a bit high, like maybe it was copper plated? Also, much better photos would help a lot. Wait for more comments from the pros.

Much more info and more (better) pics are needed. The weight is more than any Lincoln Cent should realistically weigh.

First welcome to CCF. Second, while better pics would help us to see what you have, it sounds like you are already pretty sure that you have the real deal here. If so, then your next step is to send it in to a TPG and get it slabbed.

that you should get it slabbed.

The faith you have placed in independent opinions so far,
suggest that there is a case to be made out that the slabbing and shipping fees could be justified.

Post pictures of the slabbed coin.

Personally, based just on the single image you provided, I disagree with the unnamed "several coin dealers and a couple professional authenticaters and certified graders". But I can't see the reverse, touch it, weigh it, measure it, analyze it, etc. I'd love to see a new genuine example of this coin surface. How did you acquire it?

To CCF , Did any one of those dealers ,etc . offer you anything for that coin ? You know the chances of it being a genuine 43 copper are astronomical . Like others have said , show us a lot more photos of obverse and reverse and edge of coin before you send it in for authentication .

Given that the weight is off, I would give it a less than .01% chance it's real. I have literally seen thousands upon thousands of fakes of these. They are literally pretty much everywhere and have been for many years.

Quite a few red flags on this one. I would question the credentials of the professional authenticators and certified graders

The dies were set to strike the much harder steel composition. When striking the softer copper planchets the resulting coin should be HAMMERED!. On this the date is weal, the I in LIBERTY is gone and the details of the head and coat are weak.

Thanks for sharing this with us.
Would love for this to be the real deal but there have been some really good points mentioned, especially about the weakness of the strike (even though there may be a possible explanation like grease.)

I know you said "magnetic free" in the title but the splotchy surface does remind me of normal 1943 cents where the splotching comes through on replated coins.
If you can share some more clear images that would be great, and maybe include the edge. Thanks.

Look forward to hearing more on this one.

Throwing the flag on this one and calling BS. No evidence to reach any other conclusion.
