Quote: If one of the moderators would rename the post for Sammeli, it would probably get more comments. Done. Quote: and also move it to the right section And, done. A very nice, rare coin. I am surprised "Danlos" was sleeping at the wheel with this one... it just goes to show that persistence pays off with ebay searches.

Please post a high resolution photo of both sides. If confirmed, this is a fantastic catch, and in 8 years of searching, I did let it slip through my fingers . Well done, sir.

Those are better photos. Causes considerably more drooling from all of us envious large cent collectors. It's nice to know they do turn up from time to time. It gives CV, gidjit, me and others hope that we may yet find one.

Is a large cent collection ever complete?

A large cent collection is NEVER complete. Just getting all the '81 & 82 major varieties are hard to complete, let alone the '59's.

Guys need help. Had discussion with my kids,(they don't have passion to collect coins) they want me to sell coin because when I'm not around they will probably sell it to first person that will give them a good price and not research it. So 2 part question 1. what would the coin be worth In today's prices and. 2. Should I sell as a complete set.
Thanks in advance.
Ps. Not trying to sell on this site. Just for info
