Hello community. Been posting on here for a bit so thought I should introduce myself. I'm a software engineer, former Army soldier, and a recovering sports memorabilia collector who realized I had the wrong collecting dream. Therefore, my sports collecting passion turned into a coin collecting passion about 10 years ago. I started out collecting modern pennies, tokens, and challenge coins then started expanding to other moderns. I've nearly completed uncirculated base sets of 1946 to current Roosevelt dimes, 1959 to current Lincoln cents, 1959 to current Washington quarters, and now am working on finishing up 1938 to current Jefferson nickels. Over the last year I've become much more interested in errors/varieties, finer details on grading, and expanding to other U.S. modern coins. I'm excited by everything I'm learning on here and am looking forward to continuing to learn about this wonderfully exciting hobby from all of the knowledgeable folks in the community. |

Thank you so much for the warm welcome! Great to hear. I'm really excited by how much I've learned just from being on here a short time. Kicking myself for not becoming involved out here sooner, but now that my kids are grown and I'm divorced I have plenty of time on my hands  . Thanks again! |

I've noticed that as well. Is there a place to update that setting, SeatedNut? I'm figuring this has something to do with my privacy VPN software. I'm a highly constitutional and security conscious kind of guy.

I'm also in Illinois, retired Air Force and currently working software development for the U.S. Army. Small world.
The moderators should be able to correct the "United Kingdom" thing.
