If it's decent I pull it and put into a pile to giveaway or add as a bonus coin to random ebay orders for fun.

Yes, I keep them, but I didn't vote.

I treat all impaired proofs as if they were business strike coins of equivalent condition.

I have never gone out of my way to specifically collect modern proof coins.

I call them rescue coins.

I didn't have a name for it, but that is definitely how I feel about them.

I used to not keep them, but now I keep them for fun. Maybe I can give them away at some point.

Thanks everyone, pretty interesting to see what everyone thinks. I was prompted to post the poll because I came across a 2007-S Jefferson Dollar in a roll, but it was pretty heavily scratched. I decided to let it go ultimately since it was so damaged. Normally I keep impaired proofs though. I think that was the first one I've ever tossed one back.
