Thanks, Princetane.

For those who don't know, Civil War tokens were struck by private makers, in part, to help relieve a shortage of circulating cents. Some had a patriotic theme, and others served as business cards (or store cards).

I find this one interesting too.

The 1864 Indian I bought as a Proof 64RB in a SEGS holder at a considerable discount because of the holder. I sent it into NGC for a better holder, and they sent it back PR details "altered color" (which I don't see, and have actually seen much worse in straight graded holders)

The 1864 2C is graded MS 64 RB by PCGS.

One for today.....
