@jellis, first welcome to CCF. Second, adding pictures of the front and back would be super-helpful, although from your description I wonder if it is a token of some sort. Here is a link to the tutorial on uploading pics:

If you can't post photos how about a detailed description of the coin.

Here's a Kennedy brothers gold coin, does this look like yours?

Try saving the resized image to your computer first and then downloading THAT saved image to your reply.

Regarding your coin/medal/token ..... sounds like some kinda commemorative thingy that was done on the 25th or 50th anniversary of their deaths.

Skated the internet and found an auction from 2017 that had one like it in it. The auction was at a place called "Dorotheum" in Europe and the starting bid was 500 Euros. The auction description was vague with no specifics about origin, content or symbolism. Do not know whether it sold or not.

Sorry, not much help.

Yes I'm not finding much either. I see initials under JFK's bust and the letter A in a circle as identifiers, but I wonder if there is anything along the edge that might help?

I'm assuming that the circled "A" would be the hallmark of the manufacture and the "900" would be the fineness of the gold in the medal.

(You have to remember though that assuming things in the coin/medal and collectibles business can get you in trouble real quick!)

I agree. The only hallmark that I can find as an A in a circle is for ANA BeKoach. However, she seems to focus on rings and Judaica.
