@SG, first welcome to CCF. That would be quite a find if real. Have you compared it against pictures of the real deal, such as on the PCGS coinfacts website? Also, can you please post the weight of this piece?

No I do not know what it weighs what should it weigh AMD tommorrow I will take it to the coin shop and ask them to weigh it.

Don't bother, it is a copy and not a very good one. Pretty typical of the low quality souvenir type replicas.

Here is one of the ones I was comparing it to the edges were the same at least in am amateurs eyes lol.

The first giveaway is the "cast look". Notice on the genuine coin, the lettering and devices are sharp and smooth, the edges well defined. On yours, they are kind of fuzzy and rough. This is because the fake coin was cast in a mold, not struck by dies. A corroded genuine coin can look somewhat like this, but not exactly. Most likely the weight is off as well, most of the fakes are cast from some other easier to work metal. It really comes down to experience, look at as many genuine coins as you can. I've been collecting colonial coins for over 40 years and am learning all the time, so it doesn't happen overnight!
