Those are tough to find. I saw one sell at auction on ebay for over $40!

Nice DDO! Also, your pictures are amazing! I find it extremely difficult to take pictures of uncirculated coins with high glare.

If you found it in the wild in fresh rolls, then there maybe many in your area.

Thanks for the input all. It would be nice to find more in these rolls. Someone put a check mark on the sides of the rolls I'm searching so thinking maybe these have been searched and this one got missed.

Pardon my newbness (just getting into collecting myself). I'm trying to understand the designator 2018P-SC-2018-1DO-001 and where it comes from. I understand in this case it's describing a DDO, but is there a book or website that has catalogued this specific coin? I'm also curious what microscope OP is using for such great pictures. 2018p - year and mint mark SC - shield cent 2018 - year again? why? 1DO - used to describe DDO but I don't understand this nomenclature. 001 - A variation of the DDO?

First part of attribution # Look here http://coppercoins.com/advsearch.php and for a better understanding. Another good site is Wexler's Coins and Die Varieties. There are other good ones out there. 1DO - used to describe DDO but I don't understand this nomenclature. Part of attribution#001 - A variation of the DDO? A perticular DDO for this year and mint.I believe the monoscope I am using is a OneStar. I've had it for 4 years and still works fine. Believe I paid about $60.00 for it. You can find them online. The picture quality is more about lighting than the scope you are using as well as some minor photo editing. I used a flashlight for lighting on this one. I need to improve my lighting. (Minimal software is included with the scope in most cases for picture quality. Edit....Depends how much you are willing to spend.

Good to know and either distributed through the Fed branch out of Jax or the "snowbird" pipeline from elsewhere in east. EDIT: Thanks LOM. Just realized I have an original brick of these (2018p) from Lake City area that I gave up searching after only 4 rolls because of the glare. Hmmm. May be time for a new pair of sunglasses.
