That's interesting! There's something going on there...do you see notching or serif doubling?
Here's what I think is a DDO from a 1983 25 Pesetas:

I'm not sure on this one. Maybe I am looking too hard at it.
Used to U.S. coins but it should not make a great diff.
a few chips and a Cud on there too. might just be a Die Deterioration
combined with a shaky machine. I wanted to flip the post over to the u.s. error forum but not sure if I could do that or not. But you seem to be in the know on DDO's.

I'm not sure either, and thought these pics might be helpful.
This isn't my coin--but someone from another forum.
All my doubled dies are either US or Australia.

Indian 1,

Your coin shows both Die Deterioration Doubling and Machine Doubling damage. No doubled die.
Thanks,
Bill

Thank you sir. I was leaning that way and that
seals it. They were probably putting out quite a few of these
coins at the time. In spain they get a 3 hour lunch break, so ? :)
The maint. mech's. get 4 hours. I'd like to see the final batch they ran of that die.

Indian's photos are not working for me.

Kurt's coin is definitely a doubled die.
