I'll say an easy 65 if not better.

MS66. There are few marks on the cheek which caries a large part of the obverse grade. The abrasion in the field is noticable, but not too bad. The reverse is of nice quality. MS66 IMO.

Also, did you get my follow up email from yesterday?

I see it being an MS65 because of a few marks. Very nice coin!

Is this specimen as bright as the pictures indicate? Or is there luster or cartwheel luster that is washed by the lighting?

My thoughts exactly! Great strike, and no discernible wear, but how far up the scale can it go with limited luster?

Luster on the reverse is better, but looks a bit flat. Might be the lighting, but I'd say a 65. If luster is good, I'd say 66.

Yes

the coin was difficult to photo due to reflective lighting. it has full cartwheel luster and I'm not seeing any breaks. up to newsprint both sides look like 3" deep. I'm wondering now if it might pull a PL. tough to get in photos as I'm not the best photographer. i'll try to take photos out of the holder and maybe that will help..will repost

Well I'm still honing my grading skills, but I'm thinking a MS64 or MS65. But aside from that, I'm also trying to hone my picture taking skills, and I think that those are a couple of really great pictures. And I know that this isn't the picture taking forum, but would you mind telling just what lighting or other tricks you used to get those pictures in your post?
