Not really sure if that line on the nose is a die crack issue and there is a small doubling around back side of ear? Appreciate the help.

Machine doubling. Note the affected area is flat, shelf like. The contour on that area was removed by the machine right after the strike. Nothing is actually enlarged, but is reduced a bit.
Note on a doubled set of lips, the area is not flat,

The contour is present. And the affected area is not the edge of the devices, but on the center of the devices. Hope this helps?

Unlike Machine Doubling:

Machine Doubling flattens and reduces the contour of the design and alters the outside edge of the devices.

For the linear mark on the nose I think that it is a small die crack, although it is a little unusual location.

Thanks for the help and the pic's of doubling they help a lot. I will keep it because I have never seen a die crack like this one on a dime.
