Mr Pink's album picture showed there are no special varieties so this would be an easy set.
..that is outwardly true, but if I would've said that myself I would amend it to: there are no business strike special varieties
that I'm aware of.
('business strike', just so there's no confusion about 'bullion'.

it was easy to assemble and it was relatively quick. I wasn't in a rush to do it, but I was able to do it quickly simply because of availability. every date is readily found and acquisition is easy on the wallet. I didn't have any problems. I suppose my only real problem at the time was that the sellers couldn't get them to me as fast as I wanted them to, LOL!

(additionally, I assembled the proofs & burnished albums and acquired the 2006, 2011, 2012 and 2013 mint sets within the same time frame, the dansco albums were acquired only last spring.. I was flush with cash during those couple of years, pre-Irma, roughly 2015-17.. I was finishing up the then-current crop of coins [for the work-in-progress to be almost complete] when the 2017-S-minted proofs were hot.. I had been thinking about a silver eagle collection for years and finally busted a move on it, starting with the business strikes, and once I had most of them I then lateraled into proofs & burnished & sets)
yah, those albums are weighty! but, as mentioned in previous threads, it's a big beautiful coin that I totally enjoy. it
feels like money. I think the same of morgan/peace dollars & ikes. I love 'em, and I like having them, but i'll allow only so many in my holdings because of the weight. it is for that reason that I won't have too many. it is a real struggle and I somehow manage to keep it capped. I'm sure many longtime collectors relate to that sentiment.
i'll eventually upgrade the 3 albums to CAPS albums. I guess i'll just wait & see what the mint produces (re: reverse design changes & security features) before I make a decision on how to handle [buy/store] the new ASEs.
sorry, I strayed & rambled.. getting back to bullion.. the only oddity I have found so far in business strike ASEs is the 1987, and it deserves it's own thread, which I have so far failed to do.
