@hfjacinco, My album is the Bullion coins. All the proofs and burnished are in mint boxes. Short the 1995 w for a complete set.

I checked and counted , I have 18 different dates. That leaves me 17 coins to get :)

Once I started collecting again and learned about the Silver Eagles, I wanted to collect them for an investment (silver is supposed to continue to climb in price) and because it's another variety of the mint's production. I have 13 so far and no proofs or burnished yet. They are kind of expensive and my priority really is older silver coins like morgans and Peace dollars and quarters, etc.

Remember that most pre 1964 coins are 90% silver, so for quarters as an example it will cost almost $18/$19 to get an ounce as you will need 5.5 quarters. Currently my LCS is selling Junk Silver at 13.5X face, some places have had it as low as 13 and others up to 14X.
