Hi,

I found a nickel which seems to have some finning on both sides of the coin.....it also has concentric rings around the side.....can anyone tell me if what type of error the rings around the side of the coin are? Thanks.

This coin looks altered. Why it looks like three layers is a puzzle to me? Weight is probably more than 5 gms.

That is an odd one. I agree getting a weight would be helpful.

Someone was fussing around with the edge which caused the rim anomalies.

Ok well it weighs exactly as much as one nickel, so I don't think that it is a Magician's coin.
