I think this might be a dropped letter, but I'm new so I'm not sure. Can someone let me know? I think it might be raised, but I cant really tell because the coin is pretty beat up as you can see. And I'm sorry about the glare on the close up.

Don't dropped letter errors appear incuse on the coin? This one looks raised. I vote gas bubble problem.

Interesting but I believe it is the beginning stages of two perfectly placed areas of zinc rot in this area.

You can see more of them under the "8" as well as under the ear lobe.
Words of encouragement are one of the major food groups.
We need to consume them regularly to thrive and grow.

Look closer into the crater to see if you see a split in the plating? You should see gray in the center area where the slit in the plating caused this?

I poked both circles with a toothpick and both deflated. So yeah, I guess it is zinc rot and I'll just put it in my spender pile. Thanks everyone for replying. You guys are helping me so much everyday with your replies to mine and other's posts. Thank you!
