The 1998 Lincoln is in the bottom and the top is the 1992 D.
Does it look like the 1992 has an Am close to connecting.
Input would be awesome thanks. After looking at so many pennies, my eyes and mind are messing with me. Lol

Top coin is Close AM, bottom is Wide AM.

Close AM has a straight bar to the G, and Wide AM has the bent "flared" bar. Just another marker to look for.

So the top coin is a 1992 D Close AM?

Both coins are normal. 1998 Close AM, 1992 Wide AM.

Judging by the strike and the split plating, I think the bottom coin is more likely the 1992-D, which would mean both coins are normal.

Are you sure you don't have the dates mixed up?

Please post a picture of just the 1992. I think the terms "on the top" and "on the bottom" is a little confusing. "On the top" could mean the Coin we can see the reverse above the other Coin or it can mean the Coin sitting on top of the second Coin. Anyway, posting an obverse and reverse pic of just the 1992 will settle it and forum members can provide the feedback you are seeking. I think Coop is right on but just to clarify please post the pics of just the 1992.

The 92-D is a normal Wide AM. The designers initials are close to the memorial.
