Jayhawk143 New Member United States 25 Posts	Posted 02/18/2020 3:33 pm Anyone want to help me verify if this '87 is a Double Die? I see on Reverse Definite doubling in AMERICA. But I'm not sure about the obverse. The Mint Mark looks Doubled along with the date and some other devices have subtle doubling. Report this Post to the Staff

Always a possibility than someone interested in collecting coins with similar 'issues' might pay a dollar or two for it on ebay.. Report this Post to the Staff

merclover Bedrock of the Community United States 10635 Posts	Posted 02/18/2020 9:52 pm with all of the above. The split plating is showing the zinc greyish colour under the copper where the copper has split open near the MM. Report this Post to the Staff
