39-S Jefferson - Just A Harsh Clean, Right?

CoinsInVT Valued Member United States 81 Posts	Posted 02/21/2020 7:24 pm I picked this 39s Jefferson up to fill a hole in my Whitman. $4 plus a $1 shipping. With the naked eye, the sharp strike and shiny fields almost present as a proof - albeit a rough one. This is especially apparent next to other nickels in the book. Taking the close-up pictures for this post, however, show what is most likely just a harsh cleaning job. Figured I would post anyway for confirmation. The lines on the last image are fading die scratches. [red]The difference?]/red] These die scratches only affect the fields. The flow behind the devices.
