Even in that condition, I am VERY interested. I went to email /message the OP (Fernagh) and it says This member does not want to receive emails. What's my next move ?

There just isn't a market for circulated modern notes...not many collectors as compared to coins.

Thanks @Fernagh....email sent.
If I were you, I would go back and edit your post and remove your email address.

Not sure, but I think a new member needs a certain amount of posts before email can be turned on. John1

From the CCF rules page Quote: The email system is not available to new members for security reasons. Persistent ignoring of the warnings will result in the forum software locking your account. Abuse of the email system including, but not limited to, self promotion and spam will result in immediate and likely permanent banning. one of the mods would have to say how many posts it takes for someone to no longer be a new member and have their email enabled.

In my opinion as a former moderator on an astronomy forum, the buying/selling rules are also to protect the buyer and the seller. I wouldn't want to sell a $500 coin for $50 because someone on here knew the value and "cherry picked" the coin. I also wouldn't want to get ripped off by buying a fake coin/ bill.
If someone uses the pm system to clandestinely buy/sell a coin it's none of my business. But to blatantly do it on an open former isn't kosher. Just my 2 cents..
