Congratulations. And I don't blame you about the 22 plain. For years this was considered a part of the collection and for many people the tradition lives on. A lot of older collectors spent a lot of time hoping to find one in change.

I think had it been a common error coin to find (ie. low price tag nowadays) that it would be uncommon for people not to want to include it.

Good find on the 09 S VDB, That is the only thing I am missing in my books. Although I did cheat a little on the 22D Plain, I got my hands on a few 22 Weak D that I filled my books with, until I actually find the 22 D Plain...

I have a weak D as well. I put that in the extra space at the end of the wheatie pages. I have old mint mark copper round that used to come in the mint sets in the spot so there isn't a gaping hole. LOL

Congratulations on completing your set. As far as I'm concerned you're done. The 22 no D is an error just as a three legged Buffalo nickel is an error. I'd suggest getting the pair of Capital Plastics holders. They really make for a nice display.

I'm not an error collector so I gave a Weak D in the LWC and for the Bison nickels I put in a 2005 S Bison proof for the 3 legged and the 1918/7. The Mercury dimes for 1942/1 I put in an MS coin.

I like it when I have a nice coin in a space that I wouldn't fill.

I too think that the 22 Plain is not worth attempting to get. Just an error coin and should not be a place in Albums. If the manufacturers of Albums and Folders add that one, why not all the error coins ever found in the series?

Technically a lot of the older albums had a slot for the 55 Doubled Die obverse as well, I figure it comes down to what the collector wants out of the hobby, personally I have both the strong reverse and weak reverse varieties of the No D, just because of the numismatic easter egg hunt history!

Congratulations on this milestone. (Still need one myself.)
I have to agree with Coinfrog's assessment of the obverse details not being as strong as the reverse. The reverse is definitely a VF but it's hard to tell if the obverse weakness is from circulation or the strike. (There doesn't seem to be any separation between the bowtie and coat but it is hard to tell.)
If you do resubmit, you might try including a note pointing out the strength of the reverse to see if that might convince the graders, since they might overlook it trying to stay within their timeline.
Words of encouragement are one of the major food groups.
We need to consume them regularly to thrive and grow.
