it can't be plating issues, since 1964 was not plated.

Daves Errors, uh, 1964 Lincoln Memorial Cents were not plated.

Anyways, could it be Die Clash marks from Lincoln?

Yeah I know, I was looking at split screens two different coins my stupid anyways. Looks like Struck through or Die damage. Die getting ready to break and make a Cud it looks a little like a Cud starting to form on the left in the third picture..

I have one EXACTLY like it. I sent it to Mike Diamond. He didn't have an answer to what caused it other than some type of weird Die Deterioration. Take a look between the roof and the center columns and see it you see a tiny strike through that appears to be cloth.

Try a toothpick on that area. That might be clear grease:

How about some kind of coolant or beads of water on the die surface....but then if Jim0815 has the same exact type..die dents...just putting it out there...
