1943 Penny. Looking For Info In This Error

This is the coin that got me into searching about a year ago, I think it might be a grease error, but I'd like the opinions of members here that are a lot more knowledgeable than myself.

Part in question is on the reverse, "C" of CENT

That is part of what must be a very strong clash line. Perhaps the zinc plating partially peeled on that area.

While it is raised like a crack, that is the area where the clash is. Take a look at the overlay. You can see the clashes that affected both sides of the bust showing the reverse. But they shouldn't be raised as much as your coin. The coin may be having an issue with the zinc coating on the coin, or peeling there from the re-processing?
