According to Numismedia ( fair market value ) a PF-67 is valued at $6,530 and a PF-68 is $25,940 !

Thanks for the replies everyone! It was definitely love at first sight.
John1 - I'm using the Pixel3 smartphone! I got it specifically for the camera, and is probably the most underrated smartphone imo... It picks up everything! Many times if I'm checking a coin, I can trust this camera better than my own eye.

T-Bop Your enthusiasm is making me feel like a rookie collector again! Can I just send it to you for grading?

Wrongnumber - I found it when visiting my small-town home in North Carolina. I just came back last week.

SDcoinguy- Divulging how much money I spent on a coin isn't something I prefer. But in this instance it was definitely worth the price, as far as fair market value is concerned.

John1- I have 11 coins that have just been accepted by PCGS and are ready for grading, and is my first time submitting to a TPG. These were coins narrowed down and inspected/compared very carefully with only one questionable Morgan that may or may not be a "partial E reverse". I'm testing the waters here and want to see how they'll grade-out before sending in my rarities (like this Buffalo).

It is either the best struck early circulation strike Buffalo I've ever seen or is a lightly mis-handled proof.
The only thing that bothers me is the dinged up rim. That tells me this coin saw some very light circulation before being recognized as "special" and pulled from circulation by a sharp-eyed collector over a hundred years ago. Eventually ending up in an antique store would be a whole other story.
Wonderful coin no matter what! Congrats on a great find!
