Let me not this is not mine, it's property of the LCS I work at. What do you think PCGS graded it?

Not a grader but certainly a beauty of a coin! Nice RPD on this one too.

I can't see any flaws, even enlarged. I'll say MS-66 or even 67, but just a stab.

Tough to grade.
Could be an AU-58.
If not, then you're up in the MS-66 range.

I'm assuming it wasn't artificially toned.
If it was, that was a great disservice to a very nice coin.

Looks real good to me, lustre is hard to judge but that's par for the course with most photos. That being said MS-66 but I don't particularly see any reason it couldn't go higher.

A 'few' dollars could change that.

Yeah, sorry. I'd like to be able to afford this but the current asking price is more than a year's rent lol.

I believe the technical grade is Yowza!

This is well out of my wheelhouse, but the sharpness of the denticles, clarity of the strike, and apparent frosted devices make me wonder if this is a proof, rather than a business strike.

I've enlarged the photo, and I can't see anything that would keep this from at least a 66. PR-66? PR-67?

Mind boggling coin.

As you can tell we very much disagree with them. Julian thinks it's a MS67, I think it's a 66+ with a incredible strike. Either way an incredible coin.

We have more pics that confirm it's not a proof (at least not in our opinion) on the ebay listing. Mods, this isn't promotion, just reference.

Undergraded imo, how's the luster in hand?

Btw I just browsed your employer's ebay shop and, man, the coins you must get to see on a daily basis

Obv is flash PL and reverse is kinda satiny with below average luster. It may have been lightly cleaned a few decades ago

I do get to see some nice stuff, but generally I see mid range stuff. But occasionally I get to see something special. We had a really high quality group of NGC gold that came in 2 days ago to list.
