I have researched this dime for almost a month.. I have come up with a couple different conclusions of what has happened. I want to get everyone's opinions and see what y'all think about it...

To CCF! Just a Very Late Die State coin with Die Deterioration. It was caused by a worn die issue, from striking a ton of planchets at the U.S Mint. Nothing special here, just a Dime struck with a very wornout die. No premium. http://www.error-ref.com/design-dev...ng-die-wear/

Looks like the die was worked over after a Feeder Finger Damage issue. Note are areas on the reverse in the centers of the design. You can see the flat area where the reverse die was altered to remove the FFD. Just like this coin:

Obverse is showing the same die damage as well:

What does the FFD look like?:

That is what the die looked like before the alteration. Now the devices are suffering because of the polishing away of the dies. (Just like on the obverse of your coin)

Yes exactly. Not your preferred outcome with this coin, but I hope you find something better next time.
